The President has the protective roof of the car removed in which he is driven through the streets of Dallas on November 22, 1963 so that people can see him better. Roughly 250,000 people are lining the streets and cheering for him. In the just over thousand days as president, Kennedy has become famous. He represents a new era. The President’s convoy is moving through the centre of Dallas. Slowly, they are passing the building which is used as a depository for school books. Three shots are fired. A person was seen fleeing the book depository. It is 1 pm. 30 minutes have passed since the attack. President Kennedy is declared dead. He was the youngest president ever elected... and he died the youngest.

Herausragend war dabei die Freundschaft zwischen Goethe und Schiller, die sich nach anfänglicher Rivalität zu einem äußerst kreativen „Miteinander“ entwickelte. Nicht zuletzt ist dies durch ihren jahrelangen Briefwechsel bestens dokumentiert. Wir untersuchen die Jugend und Entwicklung von Goethe, seine ersten Werken. Ebenso wird Schiller im Vergleich dargestellt und Gemeinsamkeiten aufgezeigt. Wir beleuchten ihre historischen und philosophischen Voraussetzungen. Der Schwerpunkt liegt auf ihrer Zeit in Weimar, wobei ein besonderes Augenmerk auf ihr kreatives Miteinander und den Austausch von ca. 1.000 Briefen gelegt wird. Ein abschließendes intensives Kapitel ist dem Klassiker „Faust“ gewidmet.

Innerhalb von 52 Jahren hat sich in der Bundesrepublik das Verhältnis von Beitragszahlern für die Rente zu den bestehenden Rentnern um den Faktor 3 verschlechtert. Sind 1962 noch 6 Erwerbstätige für die Rentenzahlung eines Rentners aufkommen, so mussten 2014 zwei Erwerbstätige für die Rentenzahlung von einem Rentner aufkommen. Die Altersarmut in Deutschland steigt. Denn nur wer 40 Jahre ohne Unterbrechung mindestens 2.100 € verdient hat, bekommt als Rente mehr als den Hartz-IV-Satz ausgezahlt. Beschäftige im Niedriglohnsektor oder in Teilzeit können selbst nach 45 Jahren Arbeit nicht von ihrer Rente leben. Vielen Rentnern bleibt nur der entwürdigende Weg zum Arbeitsamt.
