Der Film zeigt, welche Arbeiten und Einrichtungen am Flughafen notwendig sind, um einen sicheren Betrieb aufrecht zu erhalten. Was eine Rollbahn, eine Start- und Landebahn ist, wird ebenso erklärt wie die Aufgaben der Fluglotsen im Tower und die Aufgaben der Techniker am Flugzeug.
