Der Film behandelt das Thema der Bestimmung von Lebewesen anhand des dichotomischen Bestimmungsschlüssels. Dieser fußt auf der taxonomischen Einordnung, bildet eine Systematik und bezieht sich auf Entscheidungen, denen jeweils ein zweigliedriger Entscheidungsbaum zugrunde liegt.
