Lake Constance is not only beautifully situated at the foot of the Alps, surrounded by a fertile countryside – you can also tell many stories about it, and thus learn something about its history and the people who live there. Lake Constance is the largest lake in Germany. Its shoreline is 273 km long, 173 km of which are located in Germany, 72 km in Switzerland and 28 km in Austria. For many thousand years, humans have left their traces at the lake. And we will follow them.

We gain interesting insights into the valuable earthenware and are also shown the exquisite further development of the "white gold". Today this versatile material is irreplaceable in industry, too. Whether in space or as an easily compatible substitute in medicine, ceramic is applied in many places.
Youth Movement
Dancing until your feet hurt: Here, at the meeting on the Hoher Meissner near Kassel, 3,500 participants from Boy Scout associations, youth and Wandervogel groups from all over the German-speaking region have gathered. They want to celebrate, simply get to know each other and commemorate a historic anniversary.
