Coasts
Shapes and Formation
The border area of the ecosystems of land and sea, which influence each other, is referred to as coast.
Depending on their shapes, the coasts can be few to several kilometres wide and are constantly changed by surf, tides, sea level fluctuations and coastal currents in the zone of influence.
These processes have both destructive and constructive effects and result in different types of coasts.

Youth Movement
Dancing until your feet hurt: Here, at the meeting on the Hoher Meissner near Kassel, 3,500 participants from Boy Scout associations, youth and Wandervogel groups from all over the German-speaking region have gathered. They want to celebrate, simply get to know each other and commemorate a historic anniversary.
