Joseph von Eichendorff (1788 – 1857) war ein bedeutender Schriftsteller der Romantik.
Merkmale dieser Epoche waren die Naturverbundenheit, Sehnsucht, Religion, aber auch die Psyche des Menschen. Diese Motive aufgreifend, schrieb Eichendorff seine Novelle „Das Marmorbild“.
Der Film erzählt diese Geschichte vom Dichter Florio und dessen Konflikt zwischen Liebe und Versuchung, Glaube und Heidentum, Realität und Traum und sie in den Kontext der Zeit.
Parallel hierzu wird den Lernenden die Biografie Eichendorffs, auf ansprechende Weise dargestellt, nahegebracht.
Interaktive Aufgaben, Testfragen und Glossar wurden mit H5P erstellt und können ohne weitere Software verwendet werden.
