Als wichtige Drehscheibe im deutschen Schienenverkehr und als Bindeglied nach Süd- und Osteuropa gehört der Hauptbahnhof München zu den größten Kopfbahnhöfen Europas. Er umfasst ein Gelände von 1,9 Kilometern Länge und 400 Metern Breite und verfügt über 32 Gleise. 240 Züge im Fernverkehr und 510 im Nahverkehr befahren täglich den Hauptbahnhof. Aber der Münchener Hauptbahnhof ist mehr als nur ein riesiger Verkehrsknotenpunkt - auf 29.000 m² Ladenfläche präsentiert sich ein vielfältiges Angebot von Gastronomie über Dienstleistungsgewerbe bis Einzelhandel. 350.000 Reisende und Besucher lockt der Bahnhof täglich. Rund 2.000 Menschen arbeiten hier. Mit journalistischer Neugier blickt die „Reporterin“ Joey in die genannten Bereiche.
