Am Beispiel des Murnauer Mooses, des Donaumooses und des Lohmarer Waldes zeigt der Film, wie unterschiedlich Moore aussehen können. Die Zuschauer lernen, wie Moore geschützt und durch Wiedervernässung wiederhergestellt werden können.
