Geschichte und Tradition
Die Slawen existieren nicht als ein Volk, sondern bezeichnen eine Vielzahl von Sippen, die sich über eine gemeinsame Sprachfamilie, bzw. Stammesnamen definieren. Beginnend mit dem 3. Jahrhundert begann im Rahmen der Völkerwanderungen die Verbreitung der Slawen in Europa. Der Film zeigt diese Ansiedelung. Hierbei spielt neben der Eroberung von Land auch der Kampf um die Religion eine bedeutende Rolle. Des Weiteren vermittelt der Film Einsichten in die speziellen architektonischen Bauweisen der Siedlungsanlagen, in das Handwerk und in wirtschaftliche Handelsbeziehungen. In einem abschließenden Kapitel wird die Kultur der Sorben – eine der vier anerkannten Minderheiten in Deutschland – abgebildet. Das umfangreiche Begleitmaterial (u.a. Arbeitsblätter, interaktive Aufgaben, Glossar) macht das Medium hervorragend für den Unterricht geeignet.

He likes going to the school where he lives. Here, his best friend sits next to him. Max Dimpflmeier, a teacher who is severely deaf, explains that school life is not easy. But how is a newspaper created? The film shows the production of a paper in the course of one day. Starting with the editorial meeting in the morning, in which the topics and deadlines are determined, the film accompanies a journalist during her research work. You can see how a journalistic interview is conducted and what the photographer must consider when taking a press photo. Back in the editorial office, the editor’s work is illustrated, which includes the page layout and the writing of an online article in today’s time.
