Wenn ich unterwegs bin, im Bett, auf dem Sofa, wenn ich mir was zu essen mache oder beim Fahrradfahren.“ Häufig bekommt das Handy den Vorzug vor dem echten Leben. Besonders Eltern dürften das kennen. Der Familienalltag besteht oft aus youtube-Videos und Whatsapp. Eltern aufgepasst! Wenn Kinder und Jugendliche auf sich allein gestellt sind, folgen sie immer ihren Impulsen. Das ist das große Dilemma bei einer Suchtentwicklung. Doch die wenigsten Eltern wissen das. Der Untersuchung zufolge geben 70 % der Eltern nicht vor, wo Kinder surfen und spielen dürfen, 50 % setzen kein zeitliches Limit und 30 % kontrollieren nicht, was die Kinder im Netz treiben. Gemeinsam mit dem Unterrichtsmaterial ist der Film sehr gut für den Einsatz im Schulunterricht geeignet.

Today, the use of new media has become a matter of course not only in everyday life – schools and teaching, too, benefit from the new technologies and methods, which support active and independent learning. Especially in computer science, ethics and language courses but also in all other subjects, modern media are a valuable pedagogic and didactic asset. This DVD uses the example of podcasts to demonstrate how the possibilities opened up by new media can be applied in the classroom and how the pupils can be taught to handle them in a competent and target-oriented manner.
