DER ZIRKUS - EINE FANTASTISCHE WELT Der Zirkus ist in den Kindertagesstätten ein beliebtes Thema der Projektarbeit. Im Mittelpunkt steht natürlich die ganzheitliche, selbsttätige Begegnung der Kinder mit dem Thema Zirkus. Doch nicht immer ist es den Erziehern/-innen möglich einen Zirkus zu besuchen und einen Blick auf den Zirkusalltag zu werfen. Die DVD stellt auf verständliche Art und Weise das Leben der Zirkusfamilie Aros vor. Kindgerecht wird erklärt, dass das Leben im Zirkus weit mehr beinhaltet, als die lustige Welt, die den Zuschauern dargeboten wird. Der Blick hinter die Kulissen zeigt, dass das Zirkusleben mit viel harter Arbeit verbunden ist. Wir erleben einen ganz normalen Tag der Zirkuskinder Justine und Leon, die kaum Zeit zum Fernsehschauen und Spielen haben. Im Begleitmaterial befinden sich umfangreiche Anregungen und Vorschläge, wie z.B. Lieder, Rezepte, Vorschläge für eine Zirkusvorstellung, Spiele, Schminktipps usw. zur praktischen Umsetzung des Themas im pädagogischen Alltag, sowie zur Vertiefung der erlernten Kenntnisse der Kinder. Besonderer Wert wurde auf die ganzheitliche Lernerfahrung im Kindertagesstättenalltag gelegt, so dass die Kinder mit allen Sinnen die bunte Zirkuswelt kennen lernen. So stellt diese DVD eine geeignete Grundlage für eine kindorientierte Projektarbeit im Elementar- und frühen Grundschulbereich dar, die ein lebensnahes Thema aufgreift und durchleuchtet.

Today, the use of new media has become a matter of course not only in everyday life – schools and teaching, too, benefit from the new technologies and methods, which support active and independent learning. Especially in computer science, ethics and language courses but also in all other subjects, modern media are a valuable pedagogic and didactic asset. This DVD uses the example of podcasts to demonstrate how the possibilities opened up by new media can be applied in the classroom and how the pupils can be taught to handle them in a competent and target-oriented manner. The film is aimed at supporting the use of podcasts at school and encourages making them. This also requires the ability to find information on the Internet and assess it. The film informs on the functionality of podcasts and technical background as well as on the teaching and learning possibilities offered by podcasts – ranging from specific contents to superordinate learning targets such as the advancement of creativity and team spirit.
