Der Film stellt zunächst die Entdeckung der Elektrizität und die Vielzahl an Erfindungen, die sich daraus ableiten, vor.
In einem zweiten Teil werden konkrete Anwendungen anhand einfacher Schaltpläne dargestellt und die Schüler:innen zum Nachbauen angeregt.
Interaktive Aufgaben, Testfragen und Glossar wurden mit H5P erstellt und können ohne weitere Software verwendet werden.
