Ein unterschätztes Risiko
5.600 Tage war Burkhard Nachtigall glücklich. Dann veränderte sich alles. Fabian – sein einziges Kind – starb. Er erstickte kurz nach seinem 15. Geburtstag, weil er Deodorant inhalierte. Obwohl laut wissenschaftlichen Studien 11,5 Prozent aller Minderjährigen Schnüffelstoffe ausprobiert haben, wissen nur wenige, dass sie bereits beim ersten Mal Deo-Inhalieren sterben können. Auch Jenny, Robin und Alessandro sind an Deo-Schnüffeln gestorben. Wie hoch die Dunkelziffer von Abhängigen und Toten ist, weiß niemand genau. In der Drogenstatistik tauchen sie nicht auf, da Deospray nicht als Rauschmittel gilt und legal erworben werden kann. Der Film zeigt die tragische Geschichte von Fabian Nachtigall. Er erklärt aus medizinischer Sicht die Vorgänge im Körper und welche Folgen Deo-Schnüffeln haben kann. Der Film macht deutlich, wie riskant Deo-Schnüffeln ist, um die Jugendlichen zu sensibilisieren, damit ihnen ein Schicksal wie das von Fabian erspart bleibt. Gemeinsam mit dem umfangreichen Unterrichtsmaterial ist die DVD bestens für den Einsatz im Unterricht geeignet.

In light of recent public discussions, a neutral overview of the pros and cons of playing computer games is given, and different kinds of player behaviour are outlined. In this film, the pupils will recognise many aspects of their favourite pastime that encourage an independent, constructive use of this medium and reinforce their media competency. The film and teaching material are very closely related to the real-life situation.
